Northeastern Softball Drops The First Game of the Double Header Against Paris Junior College
Northeastern Softball fell to Paris Junior College 12-0 in the first game of their double header. Blayke Duncan was named the DDC Player of the Contest. Duncan went 1-1 at the plate, hitting a double and drawing one walk in the contest.
It was a tight game the whole contest, until Paris blew up in the fourth inning scoring 12 runs to end up taking the victory over the Plainswomen. Mackenzie Bowie started in the circle for Northeastern. Bowie went 3.2 innings, giving up 11 runs (0 earned) on 10 hits. Maddie Cline came in for .1 innings of relief giving up one unearned run. Isabelle Bencivenga, Kelsi Jurczewsky and Duncan each collected one hit in the contest.
