
Northeastern Softball Comes up Just Short, As they fall to Salt Lake Community College 6-5 In the Second Game of the Four Game Series
Northeastern Softball fell just short against Salt Lake Community College, as they fell 6-5 in the 7 inning ball game. Reagan Fehringer was named the DDC Player of the Contest. Fehringer was the starter for the Plainswomen, tossing 6 innings, giving up 5 runs (four earned) on 7 hits, walking 2 batters and striking out three.
Northeastern took the lead in the top of the third inning after Mikeayla Llamas tripled, and Blayke Duncan singled to left, each scoring one run. Tatiana Hunt drove the middle of the lineup for the Plainswomen, leading Northeastern with two runs batted in. Reina Roberts, Isabelle Bencivenga, Kelsi Jurczewsky, Llamas, Hunt, Duncan and Ryann Eurich each collected one hit in the contest.
