Northeastern Softball Falls To Otero College In Game Two of The Four Game Home Series

Northeastern Softball falls to Otero College 14-2 on Wednesday. Addison Steele was named the DDC Player of the Game. Steele went 2-2 at the plate, hitting one double, stealing one base and scoring one run in the contest. 

The Plainswomen were the first to get on the board in the bottom of the first inning when Kelsi Jurczeswky singled, scoring one run. Mackenzie Bowie started in the circle for Northeastern and ended up taking the loss. Bowie threw 1.2 innings, giving up 5 earned runs on four hits and walked three batters. Maddie Cline threw 3 innings, giving up 9 runs (7 earned) on 9 hits, walking two batters and striking out one batter. 

Jurczewsky and Ryann Mergelman each drove in one run in the contest. Stelle led the team with two hits.
