Northeastern Starts Off The 2024-25 Campaign With A Close Fought Loss To Casper College

Northeastern started their season off with a close fought loss to defending Region IX Champions Casper College 72-66 on Tuesday night. Abby Leahy was named the DDC Player of the Contest. Leahy loaded up the stat sheet with 16 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Yaly Ben Harush added another 15 points and Daniela Garcia Gasco was just shy of a double-double with 9 points and 9 rebounds.

Although the Plainswomen fell in the contest, they saw some success from the three point line, draining a total of 15. This was the first career collegiate game for many of the Plainswomen, which include Ben Harush, Alliyah Nelson, Daniela Garcia Gasco and Anisa Turner

Northeastern looks to turn their luck around on November 8th, as they travel to Rock Springs, Wyoming to take on Snow College.
