NJC Women Compete at Plains District Championships - Davis Sets Record

Ankeny, Iowa...

Northeastern women's golf team competed at the Plains District Championships this past week in Ankeny, Iowa.  Players from a wide area of the United States participated in the tournament, which included loads of talent in the women's golfing scene.  NJC sent freshman Brooklyn Davis and sophomore Annabelle Flores to play in the Championships on April 24th and 25th.  Brooklyn Davis was able to set a one-day all-time record for NJC women's golf by shooting an 81 on the second day of the tournament.  The +10 is the best round a Northeastern women has shot on a par 71 course.  The season has wrapped up for the ladies and will resume this Fall.
