Northeastern Golf Hosts Day 2 Of Their Region IX Home Tournament

The Northeastern Junior College Plainswomen golf team delivered an impressive performance during the Region IX Regular Season Home Tournament held at River View Golf Course on April 9, 2025. In a notable showcase of skill and consistency, Kennedy Halper led the team with standout scores and was honored as the DDC Golfer of the Tournament.

Halper, who recorded a challenging first round score of 120 followed by a 136 in the second round, demonstrated resilience and precision on the course. Her achievements not only highlighted her individual prowess but also bolstered the team's morale and standings in the tournament.

Looking ahead, the Plainswomen are set to continue their campaign in the Region IX circuit. Their next challenge will be the Regular Season Tournament in Torrington, WY, scheduled for April 11, 2025.
