Northeastern Women's Golf Competes At District Tournament in Gering, NE

The Plainswomen of Northeastern Junior College delivered an impressive performance at the District Post Season Tournament held on April 29, 2025, in Gering, NE. This event showcased some standout plays, notably from the women's golf team, which came together to display skill and sportsmanship under challenging conditions.

Kendall Velder emerged as a key player for the Plainswomen, securing the title of DDC Golfer of the Tournament. Velder's consistent play, marked by a notable first round score of 93 followed by a second round of 104, highlighted her precision and resilience on the course. In addition to Velder's exceptional performance, Kennedy Halper also turned heads at the tournament.
