NJC Wrestling Comes Up Short

NJC Wrestling Comes Up Short

Concordia, Kan...

After almost a month long break of canceled duals, the NJC wrestling team was back at it last Wednesday as they traveled to Kansas for a dual against Cloud County Community College.  Cloud County CC is ranked #13 in the country which would give Northeastern a good battle before they head to regionals.  A very solid battle ensued for NJC, but ultimately came up short as they lost 23-22.  The Plainsmen will head to Rock Springs, Wyoming on the 12th of February to compete at Regionals.  If players wrestle good enough and qualify, they will have their shot in the 2022 National Tournament in early March.
