The team wrestled well with many guys earning multiple wins and three individuals placing in their respective weights.

  • At 197 pounds freshman Angel Fuentes made a solid run going 3-1 on the day earning himself a 3rd place finish.
  • The standout wrestler of the weekend was Connor Davis wrestling at 184 pounds. Davis notched a 5-1 record with 5 Pin Falls to earn a spot in the 3rd place match. Due to the 6 match per day limit, Davis had to forfeit the 3rd place match, but ended the day with an impressive 4th place finish. Connor also earned 2 pins in the team's home opener on the previous Thursday resulting in 7 pins out of 8 matches on the weekend!
