Northeastern Wrestling opened up the 2024-25 season, as they took on #16 NCAA Division II Western State Colorado University. Silas Thompson was named the DDC Wrestler of the Match. Thompson wrestled against the #5 ranked wrestler in NCAA Division II and gave him quite an extremely competitive match. He was down only 3 points going into the last 30 seconds of the match.
