Northeastern Wrestling Falls To Northwest College 31-19 In The Season Home Opener

Northeastern started off their home season opener with a loss to Northwest College 31-19. Even though the Plainsmen fell in the dual, many wrestlers showed off their talent in front of the home crowd. Trevor Hermosillo was named the DDC Wrestler of the Dual. Hermosillo won by pinfall. Calvin Mendez was able to pick up a huge victory over the #12 wrestler in NJCAA at 133 pounds. Bronson Richins was also able to pick up a huge win against the #11 ranked wrestler in NJCAA. Silas Thompson was able to pick up a pinfall victory as well.
