9th Win In A Row For Northeastern Volleyball

Scottsbluff, Neb...

Northeastern volleyball has found their groove as the regular season is wrapping up for the 21-22 year.  On Saturday, October 23rd, the Plainswomen traveled to Scottsbluff to face #16 rival Western Nebraska Community College.  In what was anticipated to be a great match, it lived up to its expectations.  Earlier in the month, the Cougars had made the trip to Sterling to battle NJC, which had a 3-1 outcome in favor of the Plainswomen.  Whomever took the win in this competition would determine the champion for the South division in the Region IX conference.  With the win, NJC wins the division and goes into the post season as the #1 seed.  The win was the first at WNCC since 2017.  The Plainswomen finish up the regular season this week with two home games, Friday at 6pm versus Trinidad State College and Saturday at 2pm versus Otero Junior College.  Saturday will also be sophmore day for NJC.
