#4 Northeastern Opens Up Region Play With A Dominant Performance Against Otero College, Winning In A Clean Sweep. They Play Trinidad State College At 2:00 PM On Saturday
The #4 Northeastern Plainswomen took care of buisness Friday night, opening region play with a dominating clean sweep over Otero College (25-8, 25-14, 25-14). Avery Burdette was named the DDC Player of the Game. Burdette accumulated an unofficial 8 digs, showcasing a dominant defensive performance.
Francesca Nuzzo and Rose Brencic helped aid the offensive attack. Nuzzo had an unofficial 8 kills and Brencic added another unofficial 10 kills to lead the match. High energy and communication were keys in the victory over the Rattlers. The Plainswomen will be back in action again on Saturday at 2:00 against Trinidad State College.
