Northeastern Bounces Back In The Region IX Tournament, Taking Down Trinidad State College In 4 Sets. They Play Again Tomorrow At 12:00 PM Against The Loser of Eastern Wyoming and Central Wyoming
The Plainswomen bounced back in the second round of the Region IX tournament, taking down Trinidad State College in 4 sets (25-11) (25-16) (15-25) (25-14). Rebecca Wiersema was named the DDC Player of the Contest. Wiersema was able to come in and step up to the challenge of taking over the libero position in the fourth set.
Natalie Moore contributed an unofficial 10 kills in the contest. The team was able to play together and dealt with adversity very well. They play again tomorrow at 12:00 PM against the loser of Eastern Wyoming and Central Wyoming.
