Northeastern Takes Down Western Nebraska Nebraska In Straight Sets To Move To The Northwest Plains District B Championship Against Laramie County
The Plainswomen took care of business against Western Nebraska, winning in straight sets (25-18) (25-12) (27-25), to advance to Northwest Plains District B Championship game against Laramie County Community College. Kaitlyn Barnes was named the DDC Player of the Contest. Barnes racked up 4 aces in the match and played very well defensively for the Plainswomen.
Samantha Mosley contributed 14 kills in the contest, helping to aid Northeastern to victory. The key for the Plainswomen was executing their game plan and they were able to limit the Cougar's runs.
