The #4 Plainswomen headed to McCook Community College and took the victory over the Indians in 4 sets (26-24) (21-25) (25-13) (25-14). Emily Maske was named the DDC Player of the Contest. Maske compiled an unofficial .320 hitting percentage in the game.
Both the middle hitters showed out for the Plainswomen, while both Anna Ruter and Natalie Moore contributed an unofficial 7 kills each. Nerea Alvarez Jorge was huge during the game, dishing out an unofficial 42 assists in the contest. Northeastern had good communication and were able to keep their composure, which aided in denying McCook on going for any long runs during the contest.
The Plainswomen play Eastern Wyoming College on October 28th for their last home game of the season, and be sure to show up in your costumes, as it will be Costume Night!
