Highschool: Faith Christian High School; Honorable mention All State, 1st team all conference, Metro League block leader…CCGS all star player, FCA block leader and record holder, 2 year state qualifier, Ranked as a top 10 FieldLevel 2022 recruit, 3 year basketball letter winner, 2 year golf letter winner, FCHS athlete of the year finalist

College Stats/Achievements: In my first season at NJC, I accumulated 139 blocks, 129 kills, and 30 aces. I also placed 6th in the nation for block assists while helping the team to a 5th place finish.

Personal: I am the daughter of Arnie and Jennifer Ruter. I have four siblings, Lydia 24, Caleb 22, Joshua 18, and Andrew 12. I was born on February 13, 2004 in Grand Rapids, MI. I grew up in Kanawha, Iowa. I enjoy long walks on the beach and golf along with spending quality time with friends and family. I also love coffee, playing the guitar and taking long naps.

Why NJC: I chose NJC because Coach Chrisman made me confident that she could help me achieve my athletic goals. The coaches truly care about their players and have the ability to bring out the best in them. After touring campus and meeting with an avademic advisor, I knew that it would be a great fit for me to become a better student, athlete, and person.
