Bio

High School: I went to Merino High School in Colorado, my head coach was Christin Sutter. I got All Conference my freshman through senior year. We were state qualifiers freshman through senior year, we finished 6th my freshman year. I was awarded rookie of the year in 2018. We were league, district, and regional champions in 2019 and finished 4th in the state tournament. In spring of 2021 we were regional champions and went on to win state. I held the state tournament record for kills in a match with 40. I was a 1st team All-state player in spring 2021. In the fall of 2021 we repeated champs in regionals and state, I was named 1A player of the year and 1st team All-state. I participated in the CCGS games a couple weeks after state. I ended my high school volleyball career with the Sportswomen of Colorado award for my 2021 volleyball achievements. I also played basketball and track and had lots of success in both of those. 

Major: Im majoring in Sports Management. 

Personal: I was born February 4th, 2004 in Sterling, Colorado. I am the youngest of five, I have three brothers( Kix, Ace, Cade) and one sister (Larissa). My parents are Rhonda Jo and Larry Conger. I was born and raised in Northeastern Colorado and have gone to Merino since preschool. I have been involved in sports since I was little and I really enjoy being creative and doing artistic things in shop and art class. I love music and want to learn how to play piano! 

Why NJC: I chose Northeastern because of the personalized experience it gave me when I took concurrent enrollment classes and talked to staff members. The teachers and coaches are always wanting to help us be better and the support is unmatched. I’ve played at NJC many times in high school and I have been around the campus all my life. I’ve always appreciated the people and respect from the students and staff at NJC. Coach Chrisman has built a great program and I’m very excited to be working with the rest of the volleyball team and coaches this season to continue the greatness they have built in past years.??It has always felt like home at NJC and I’m so excited to be apart of such a great community.?
